Epithalon (Epitalon) is a research-grade synthetic tetrapeptide analogue of Epithalamin, a natural polypeptide extract of the pineal gland. Originally developed by Professor Vladimir Khavinson at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, Epithalon has been studied in preclinical experimental models for its effects on telomerase expression, telomere biology, and pineal gland function. It is supplied as a lyophilised powder for use in in vitro and in vivo research.
Epithalon is hypothesised to stimulate the expression of telomerase (hTERT) in dividing cells, and has been studied in preclinical models for its effects on melatonin secretion, circadian rhythm regulation, cell cycle regulation, and DNA repair pathway gene expression.
This product is intended for legitimate laboratory and analytical research use only. Not for human use, veterinary use, or consumer use. Not for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
